"Room acceptable and not too noisy as it was on the side away from the dual carriageway. Bedding clean, as was bathroom, except on the back of the door. Single bed mattresses made me feel like I would slide off them onto the floor so put them onto the floor - still very uncomfortable, unfortunately. Still, reasonable value for the price."

"I only stayed one night & didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on the food. Check in & out was quick & efficient & the staff were very friendly. Room was on the small side but adequate. Bathroom was clean, modern & included a bath. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Mainly very good rooms, comfortable and clea. However, they are currently refurbishing the corridors which badly need it, so one side of hotel has scaffolding attached. Very polite lady on reception and good value breakfast."

"I stayed here for two nights with my husband on our way down south. He is from the area and wanted to see Rutland Water. We visited various parts of the reservoir and really enjoyed seeing the area around. The hotel was also walkable distance from the museum so it was good to be able to visit that, especially when it started to rain. Oakham is a nice town. although we didn't do any shopping we went to a nice cafe and good Indian restaurant one night. We had a very nice meal at the hotel on our...
