"Our stay at the Hotel zum Goldenen Lowen was very nice and very comfortable. The room was larger than expected and was very quiet at night. The hotel is centrally located in Baden-Baden and convenient to shopping and other sites. We were here for the Christmas markets and they were only a few blocks away (easy to walk to). We recommend this hotel and will probably stay here again."

The key to the room was on a board by the phone and I had been told where the room was. The entry for the hotel in the website said there was a restaurant but it was closed. "Wir waren zu Gast in einer gemütlichen Pension mit gutem Frühstück. Man gab uns das Gefühl, herzlich willkommen zu sein. Leider haben wir während der zwei Nächte Aufenthalt ( Samstag und Sonntag) kaum schlafen können, weil einige Pensionsgäste sich nachts sehr laut und weniger rücksichtsvoll verhalten haben.
