"Was a great location with a shuttle bus into town .The staff were very friendly,the breakfast was the best selection of goods I have ever seen .Catering for all nationalities. The evening buffet was a great food choice and v good value for money ,includes wine ! The rooms could do with a bit of an update but when the view and queen size bed ,tea & coffee in room .what's not to love "

"We had a wonderful stay, and as the name states, we were always with a smile. Such lovely owners, always ready to help. They even went out of their way to give us a lift with their own car. "Sleepy small town that was interesting. Only two complaints...bed was very hard and the site stated it was 6 miles from Val Trompe .that may be as the crow flies but it is an hour drive. Food at restaurant was excellent. We liked the family atmosphere and the friendly dog"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The manager who I believe is the owner was very kind and hospitable. The location is perfect with plenty of on street parking. The hotel is very clean and I felt comfortable. I do t believe in the area you will find any better. This is top of the line for the area although may night be top of the line for American standards. I am very grateful for the service and hospitality I received at this very nice hotel "

"The AC was broken and they did nothing to fix or provide a different room. It was 32 degrees. They offered us a fan but it was difficult to sleep. Seems a lot of rooms are very old. The location and view were spectacular! Breakfast was good."

"It was a great stay, hotel is very nice and situated in beautiful town. There are a lot of restaurants and few shops nearby. There is a possibility to play tennis, courts are in a good state, red clay surface. Also there are a lot of hiking routes you can do not far from the hotel.
