"I recently stayed at Palmers, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. My college who I was travelling with managed to book the following day but the staff quickly got a room ready. The check-in process was seamless, and I was warmly welcomed by a member of staff. "We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive. Thank you again! "

"Would have given it 5 stars if we'd have been able to have a go at the footgolf. The price seemed good just wasnt sure on the condition of the playing area so we didnt risk it. The place was so tranquil. We'd potentially go again maybe in summer though although it was plenty warm enough even in the coldest days of winter "

"The location is out in the fens and quite remote making it extremely peaceful. The only diabetics to my stay was the temperature of the room which barely got above 16 degrees despite the electric radiator being on. "

"Lovely family run B&B, the veggie breakfasts are nice, the rooms are comfortable, we loved the electric fire as it was a cold few days. Great location in the centre of the village next to shops and we had some meals from the chippy just down the road. Free parking on-site. "

"Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure "
