"Room with old furniture, very short bed... I am 1.75 m, so not very tall, but the bed was still very short for me. The room only had chairs with straw seats, very uncomfortable. To get to the rooms there is a narrow staircase with very old carpet. I also expected a better breakfast, there was even expired yoghurt on the buffet. "

"We were disappointed upon arrival to learn that the onsite restaurant was closed. Our stay was at the end of the season but we were unaware of the closure. This was the only problem with our stay. At first WiFi to our room did not connect but manager/owner worked diligently and successfully got it working! The “old farm” architecture was just as we had pictured and the view of the surrounding countryside was beautiful and soothing. We enjoyed a glass of wine sitting on the large deck overlooking...

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"Phenomenal location at the edge of a panoramic bastide. Expensive, but very good restaurant in the hotel itself (not always open in mid October). Some good restaurants nearby, but many also not open for dinner in mid October (although open for lunch)."

"Very good value for money. Nice accommodation with a nice pool. Nice easy walk into sarlat but a bit of a climb on the way home. The owners are very nice and serve up freshly baked baguettes every morning,just put your orders on the board. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"A lovely provincial hotel in Sarlat & we enjoyed the breakfast. Very pleasant hosts & their dog Mario was a treat. Our only issue was that they said they had a problem with Wotif/Expedia passing on our payment & as we had to pay again on check out, & now are in negotiations with Wotif to get our money back. We have to wait 3 days so we do not yet know how easy Wotif is going to make the resolution to a problem of their making. Hopefully it will be ok "
