"My partner and I visited Malaga for a few days, both our birthdays are around the same time and we thought a little trip away would be a perfect way to celebrate. Hotel Del Pintor is in a superb location, right in heart of Malaga and easily accessed from the bus routes from the airport. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who explained our room wasn't quite ready yet, however explained our luggage could be left at the hotel while we go and explore Malaga. On our return to the hotel...

"Nicely renovated hotel - lobby area and rooms. Toilet and bathrooms ensuite are still old, but OK. Except that the shower leaks after each shower. They have tried to use silicon to fix it but failed. Air conditioning unit in the room is also not working. But being cooler weather, it was fine. Reception staff and housekeeping staff are very friendly and warm. Close to both the train and bus stations. Very convenient to walk across and also to the city centre & port area. "

"After booking a major hotel in the area and leaving after ten minutes I fell upon this gem. Right on the sea front so walkable to everything. Staff were great, shower really good and the hotel very clean. Small coffee/ tea self service in reception and a few breakfast pastries. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again "

"Stayed here several times - nice rooms the spa is great especially if the weather isnt great. Pity that the main pool bar is rarely open except in the height of the season."

"We stayed for 6 nights February 2024. Location is nice and secure. The room was very well stocked with laundry (washing machine is in your own apartment) and kitchen supplies (including an electric water kettle). Apartment was very nice and spacious and the bedroom was cool upstairs with circular stairs. One oddity, the shower is small and does not have a curtain/door behind you so water can get all over. Will definitely come back."
