"We stayed here for one night to get some rest during our roadtrip. This hotel has thin walls. Didn’t get much sleep since we could hear the person next door snoring the whole night. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone scared of spiders. There were spider webs in the bedroom and in the bathroom. We also found spiders in our room. "Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. "Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "

"A really nice hotel except they rent most of it out for weddings & then you are stuck listening to loud & annoying music until 2 a.m. in the morning. We didn’t sleep at all & for the cost this luxury hotel I didn’t expect this. If you are going to allow weddings then either rent the whole hotel to the wedding or warn other guests! I would not have stayed here had I known. Very little by way of breakfast or dinner (no vegan options)."

"Just a 5-10 minute drive from the heart of the old town. Easy to access if coming from Odense station: 10 minute bus ride from the station, then a 5 min walk. If you like walking, it’s only a 30 minute walk from the train station. B&B unit is set up perfectly, and there is also access to their laundry. Would definitely re book if I’m in the area again. Area felt safe as a solo female area. "

"A great camping area with lots do to for the kids. Good size pool, playgrounds and the cabin we rented had everything we needed. Very pleasantly surprised how good it was as a whole and the lady working reception was very welcoming and service minded. Would definitly come back if were going to Denmark again. "

"What a surprise packet We booked this as a last minute as we were around 1hr away, not knowing the hotel or the area. Incredible location with spectacular views Jan and Susanne were amazing, we felt welcomed from the first minute to the time we left. Breakfast was delicious I just wish we had more time to spend at the Lund Hotel and the area. We will be back "
