"This was our first time stay with Hotel Nalanda. It is a nice cosy Hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were nice and clean and food at the restaurant was up to the standard. Restaurant staff was quite accommodating. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the hotel."

"The hotel is a standard facility if you are looking for a place to sleep , management is great but the F&B is very much below average, I was disappointed with the breakfast and the F&B staff are not trained at all. It would be best to order an off the menu item for breakfast. Apart from the few bathroom amenities and no hot water or hot water kettle it's a reasonable place. "

"When we first checked in the room (a queen room) even though booked for 2 adults was only catering for a single person- one towel, one tea bag, one toothbrush, one pair of slippers etc. This was corrected when it was pointed out to them but even at 9:00 pm I had housekeepers coming and knocking on the door wanting to come into the room in the pretence of bringing another bath towel even though this had been done before 4 pm. "Really unprofessional front office. Cleared bill in morning and asked to keep invoice ready by evening. As expected it was not ready. Made a lot of issue in accepting to give invoice with my GST number. Justification is its online booking. But payment is direct. First time i faced this issue. Also to mention intercom was not working and i had to call to hotels land line from mobile for any service."

They tried to separate 2 rooms (1 family) on separate floors saying thats the only way they can assign rooms. Bedsheets were torn and wore out. Towels were not properly washed.
