"Good, clean and comfortable hotel for a weekend away to do some walking. Friendly staff, good evening meal menu, good wine. Breakfast was a bit basic, and I would have welcomed some fresh fruit and decaf coffee. On the whole very good value for money. Nice quiet location too."

"Die Küche ist wirklich exzellent! Wir haben viel mehr gegessen als wir eigentlich wollten. Das Schwimmbad ist relativ groß. Das ganze Hotel ist aber schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen (z.B. unmöglich hohe Toilettensitze, kein Lift). Aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar! "This hotel and the owner John made this stay absolutely perfect. He will bend for any needs one has and he makes the stay so comfortable for any visitors. Upon arrival we were 2.5 hours early to check-in, there was no fuss, and we were shown to our room. We questioned about bike rentals and he had two for free for us to use for one day, no problems.
