"my daughter and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. We stayed for one and a half days so we had one night and the day until 7 pm. Our flight was at midnight so it was very convenient. "I’ve always stayed at Papillon Echo Beach whenever I visit, as my frequent spa place is nearby. Canggu has grown a lot more vibrant over the years & it’s so much more convenient with lots of offerings (cafes, restaurants, bars, beach clubs) nearby. The bed is very comfortable & good room size. "This is an older-style hotel but advantages are that the area is quiet and the hotel has a lovely spa and pool, surrounded by shade. My room was on the third floor and was comfortable. Aircon worked fine. The staff at the front desk were kind and went out of their way to help with whatever I wanted to know. My driver, Geday, was lovely. "Rimbun was amazing. Super cute and affordable. Staff were very nice and were always cleaning the property. There is barely any noise so it's a good place to relax. Breakfast was provided by the restaurant attached, Lush, and was delicious. Only negatives were, hard to contact beforehand but got to them by calling on whatapp, had a leak in the bathroom which was fixed within 30 minutes of reporting and the shower is close to the toilet so makes the toilet and floor around it quite wet....

"The room was small, bed comfortable but really just a place for sleep. Was a good location but overall wasn’t a fan of room and stay. The wifi was really bad and hardly any toilet paper or even soap in bathroom, no towel change, and no water bottles in room. Good price for just a place to sleep in a central location. "Wonderful staff. Always ready to help. The property itself is okay and it’s not expensive but it’s let down by some of the details being missed. Dirty bird droppings not cleaned off walls, black mould in the shower, very discolored bathroom towels. Rough finishing/workmanship, cheap furnishings. It’s also worth noting that there is a no go zone for ride share on the Main Street where this property is located. Taxi mafia we are told. Makes it a bit inconvenient if you don’t have your own...
