"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. "A nice hotel, with a large clean room, en suite toilet and basin. There is a modern monsoon shower installed in a room on the same corridor. I had dinner in the large, airy restaurant which was fabulous."

"We had a lovely stay. We were taking a bike trip and were shown a secure place to lock our bikes. We also had a wonderful meal at the hotel restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those cycling in the area."
