"We booked this pub/hotel for a two night stay due to going to a wedding at Hallington Mill a venue approximately 15mins drive away. Arriving on a Friday afternoon we received a lovely friendly welcome and had a evening meal on our first night. We stayed in room 7 a fantastic large bathroom which look brand new. Every member of staff we had dealings with very friendly and helpful. "

"Traditional village inn run by the community. Food and drink prices very reasonable. Room was clean and comfortable. Noise from bar below stops around 10 pm so wasn't an issue. "

Clearly run by someone who wants to provide excellent service. If I visit the area again this is the first hotel I will try to book. "

"Rooms are clean, tidy, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is very good and the staff are well organised. The food for the evening meal is nothing short of outstanding. Highly recommend this place."
