"The hotel is right in the city centre. It has way more character than any other mainstream hotels. I felt extremely comfortable. My room was very clean and looked like it was recently refurbished. Loved the style and decorations, it was very much like my own house. Sharron at the reception was super friendly and made me feel welcome."

"Parkhouse B&B is incredibly well located to both Bunratty Castle and the Shannon Airport. In fact, it is right down the street from Bunratty Castle. Our host and hostess were so welcoming and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep before catching our flight home the next day. Fresh fruit, home-baked brown bread, and a choice of a hot breakfast plus a large pot of coffee rounded out our stay. Highly recommended!"

"2 nights Magical location. Property in fair condition, except for a strong smell of tobacco smoke. Took several attempts to get directions from owner for this hard-to-find location"

Two night work stay

"I arrived late after work and being on the road for a few hours. I had missed the cutoff for barfood by a few minutes but reception called them and placed an order for me which was ready at the bar 10 mins later. Check in was fast and efficient with very friendly and polite staff. Room was clean but the heating was overpowering and I had to turn off the radiator. The bathroom was clean and my only single complaint was the shower head as the water flow was poor and the nozzles could probably do with a clean to free the flow. Breakfast was a buffet style and the food was good and hot. I had dinner on my second nights stay and it was lovely. There was plenty of choice. Overall I was very happy with my stay."
