"The property was in a good location, clean, reasonably priced with friendly staff. although our reservation was made well in advance the rooms were not ready when we checked in at around 5 PM. we left for dinner and upon our return at around 6:30 PM came back to fine all of our luggage already in our rooms so congrats on the recovery plan by the young man on the desk. i would certainly stay here again."

"Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! We were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. "

The Allmans were very helpful and generous. We loved Hinton WV. Everything we did was within walking distance of the train station. We are already planning our next visit."

"Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

"The cabin was fine except for the one issue I had with the cleanliness. The dishwasher was full of half clean dishes. I say half clean because the dishwasher had been run, but the many of the dishes were not clean. I had to hand wash them first because I did not want to be blamed for putting away unclean dishes and washing them again in the dishwasher would have been futile. "
