"This property is right in the market area and yet quiet and calm. A variety of birds fly around the roof during breakfast with fort as a backdrop and violet temple in the foreground— kinda dreamy. We were in the temple room with old paintings on one wall. I think the dust rolling in from the street is a constant. Very convenient for shopping and getting tuktuk."

"Stay away from this hotel. The front of the hotel is falling down. The room was old with mold at the bottom of the walls. There is no management. The 2nd day when we arrived at 5 pm, the room was not done. I had to argue to get it done. The manager didn't apologize and the staff discussed between them who was going to clean the room. I will never go back to this hotel."

"Very nice, as an American used to western accommodations this was perfect for me, nice spacious room, excellent service, safe area, good breakfast, hot water and large bathrooms, and speedy Wi-Fi! I highly recommend!"

"Overall their services were good. Property as such was very good including location where the hotel restaurant was just besides the fort, however the approachability was a bit of an issue. Cabs cannot reach the hotel door."

"This is a characterful place to stay rather than an anonymous chain hotel. We stayed in a luxury room which was large and quiet. We ate there every night as the food was good and the view amazing. There were other restaurants within a short walk but it was nice not to have to walk out again after our busy days. Things to note Doors were low to rooms and en suites, my husband kept banging his head! There are also steep stairs and no lift so if you aren’t good on your feet it could be an issue....

" Wonderful havellie. Very authentic and in the gullies. Only rickshaw can get there. The hotel staff were super friendly not pushy and very helpful. Being an old havellie a few niggling bits. Hot water was slow but we had hot water. Close walking distance to clock tower step well and shopping and chat places"
