"The hotel is a bit out of way, didnt expect its in a farm. However, the ocean view is gorgeous. The hotel interior walls and steps are all unfinished playwood, which doesnt look new, not sure if this was the plan or just never finished? The included breakfast have good choices, and the The main issue of this hotel is that the first picture of this hotel is a man in a good-sized hotpool, which doesnt exist in the hotel... It only had a tiny 3-foot square pool at the back door, which is...

"On the hillside across the fjord from the airport and town, it was in the middle of having an extension when we were there (boy, Icelandic builders are hardy) so was a little out of sorts. That said, it is kept in immaculate order, and I’m sure the extension will be great. Currently it’s just 8 rooms, and won’t be so much bigger next year, but will have an internal lift so you don’t have to go outside to get to the lower rooms. There isn’t a restaurant, but the breakfast buffet is a good start...

"Overall it was a good, cheap stay for a night. It's not very far from all the restaurants and bars, but it is also at the top of a fairly large hill. The facilities were nice enough. Though the tv in my room was flickering. I'd recommend if you just need a place to stay for a night or two. "

"Great location, spacious, easy parking, easy checkin and check out with key box and instructions. Husband is a bit noise sensitive and you can hear neighbors/outside noise but this is city living. I like dark rooms when sleeping and the apartment didn’t have black out curtains. Otherwise the apartment had everything if you were going to cook and it could easily fit more than 2 people."

"Great place for the value and location. We only stayed for one night. The bedroom was a nice size for two. They have a bunk bed in the main living area if you were travelling with more people. The bathroom was a little cramped."

"We loved staying here. More spacious than most properties for 2. Very warm and even has an area where we could get our clothes dry from the trip to Forest Lagoon, which is super close by the way. It had all we needed, except for a microwave oven, which I believe is a must. But we managed. Space may be a bit reduced, but that is expected in an accommodation for 2. We loved having a living area as well. Close enough to Akureyri and great spot for a stop before continuing on ring road. "
