"A truly magical place! Great service. Kind and helpful people. Management repeatedly went out of their way to ensure we were pleased and taken care of. Dining options while limited (that is to say there is one restaurant) was nonetheless wonderful! Again, service made it superior. I could write paragraphs about the views…. And both our sunrise and sunsets were literally a once in a lifetime experience! I rarely speak in superlatives. Something about sitting in full view of the Himalayas...

"Set in a lovely peaceful area 30 mins from Kathmandu. Well maintained golf course with a fabulous view of Mount Everest. Indoor pool was lovely and warm but in need of an upgrade. It is part of the Spa so kids should be allocated a set time so as to not to disturb adults using the spa and pool for relaxation. Room was huge and very comfortable. "No complaints about the villa or the service by staff. However had to call front desk at 1130 at night because of music blaring from private party. The music was lowered but was till loud enough to keep me awake along with the noisy chatter until 230am. "Surely ,this place was overall the BEST resort we have been to in the past few years, 5 star. Super friendly, nice and supportive staff all around the resort, so I can only mention a couple of names, "Sirja" at management & "Roshan" at Devarana wellness centre who also guided us patiently to trekking to Namobuddha as well. "This is an out of the way, rugged and basic property. No pool. But they had a trampoline and a tree swing for the kids. Very quiet. Beautiful views of Lantang region. Note: you need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle with high clearance to get there. The last kilometer or so is unpaved, bumpy, muddy, and narrow. Parking is in a small dirt lot with a gate that is locked at night."
