"We checked in on a Sunday afternoon, there was a note saying where to find a phone to call reception. This was answered straight away. The key to the room was on a board by the phone and I had been told where the room was. The entry for the hotel in the website said there was a restaurant but it was closed. "Classic German hotel, near but not on the beaten path. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My only regret was having my travel plans changed for me, forcing an earlier than normal departure-which staff was kind enough to accommodate gracefully."

"Dieses Hotel ist ein typisches Tagungshotel. Das heisst die meisten Gäste kommen nur für 2-3 Tage und in größeren Gruppen. Deswegen ist Frühstück nur bis 9.30 Uhr und Check-Out schon um 9 Uhr. "A fabulous, family-run boutique hotel in an amazing location in the centre of old town Baden-Baden. The rooms are nice and the breakfast room is stellar with lovely decor and an excellent breakfast including homemade pots of chia with almond milk and platters of tropical fruit. Plus a barista with made-to-order coffee drinks. I wish I had stayed longer and will definitely come back to this hotel and to Baden-Baden"

"Above average breakfast and friendly staff. Overall quiet Parking is a challenge, many areas in this non-smoking hotel have a strong smoking smell, overall dated. Flimsy shower curtain can transfer you bathroom into a swimming pool. In case you are wondering, no AC and open windows might provide a lot of information about your fellow hotel guests. To be fair, there was always some wellness program which I did not participate as well as special evening dinner events."
