"I enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel. Single rooms in many hotels are often cramped afterthoughts, but I was pleased with mine at this one. It had a window wall with balcony looking at a nice view, a comfortable sitting area with a full size couch and a comfortable bed. The room was excellent value. Breakfast was inexpensive but very limited in choice. The restaurant's evening buffet and alacarte menu are also very limited, so I think it better to try a restaurant in town for supper. The...

"Nice people and amazing food It is impossible to sleep as you can hear every foot step from the rooms next door. Every word and toilet trip. 1am before I could sleep all the ear plugs in the world wouldn't help. If you are going to stay up late and enjoy the food then great place to stay If like me, you want to sleep so you are rested to go hiking, book another hotel. "

"Nettes kleines Hotel in guter Lage und mit reichlich Parkfläche. Der Eingangsbereich ist sehr modern und einladend gestaltet, der Zimmerbereich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und teils aus der Zeit gefallen (Flachspüler-Toiletten, Fernseher muss über zwei Remotes bedient werden). "This small hotel is located on a quiet residential street. My double room was clean, with a cosy seating area and a balcony with pleasant view. The hotel is flooded with light and has many homey touches throughout. Breakfast was basic, but sufficient. This was a good base for exploring the Southern Harz region.
