"Really great staff. Never had poor service at a holiday inn. Kudos to a chirpy Ben on the morning shift. This is slightly dated hotel and the bathroom set up is unfriendly with a step into the bathroom and a huge step into the shower. The bed felt like a tiny double. It is conveniently located which is why it is so popular. Breakfast was a highlight, well laid out, plenty of space and fresh food "

"We were celebrating our Ruby anniversary. The hotel was lovely and we were greeted warmly. The room was spot on and we opted for one with a sea view. The room was large with a very comfy bed. The bathroom had a very big shower which was nice. The towels were lovely and soft. The food was excellent. We had a meal in the conservatory in the evening. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. We would stay there again."

"My room was directly over the bar area downstairs so was noisey until closing time. All the staff were very polite and friendly. The food was excellent, my only complaint would be that my main course came out when i was only half way through my starter. The room was spacious but cleaning is the biggest let down for this place, thick dust in the hard to reach places and liquid spray stain around the mirror. Overall enjoyed my stay."

"Wonderful unique hotel. Lovely staff, bedroom and bathroom with a bath which is wonderful to me! I have stayed before and reviewed before; I love it. I brought my husband this time and he loved it too. Parking not available at hotel itself but NCP car park half way up Broad Street a few minutes down the hill from the hotel. Easy to walk down to the beach and a few moments walk to Langmoor Gardens. "
