"Yes there is a bumpy 15 minute ride from the main road but the pay off is a tranquil environment to relax at Kili Villa. Our room had a lovely outlook to the gardens where local fauna and birds did their thing. The staff were welcoming and courteous, and the food was delicious. Perhaps the experience could have been improved with better communication about food and drink options when we arrived (with an explanation card). There are no other options for F&B in the area (aside from the golf club)...

"I arrived at the property at 4am. My driver woke someone up in order for the gates to be opened. From the moment I stepped into this magical world, I felt swept away by the atmosphere, the 4 poster bed, the warm shower, the surrounding nature and even the charming monkeys running on the property. I enjoyed an in-room massage and a fantastic breakfast and lunch. Five stars are not enough. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. "

The check in was while sitting in a living room, they explain me all of the option for a day tour, the took care of my laundry after treking the Kilimanjaro. The lodge looks is wonderful, all is green beautifully plants, the room is wide, clean cacfully and really nice, the food is diverse and delicious. "The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was willing to accommodate our dietary restrictions without any issues. Juma went above and beyond to help with a vegan diet. The room was clean and the grounds/garden were beautiful. The hotel could use some upgrades, but they make up for that with their amazing staff!"

"Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet...
