"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"Wir waren mit unserem Besuch aus Australien für 2 Übernachtungen in dem Hotel und waren von Anfang an total überwältigt. Wie schon erwähnt, ist das Haus sehr modern auf allen Etagen, im Zimmer und Restaurant. Die Eigentümer empfingen uns sehr herzlich und machten immer uns gegenüber einen entspannten Eindruck. Es wurde auch jeden Morgen ein reichhaltiges und abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet geboten. Ebenso ist die Küche zum Abendessen sehr zu empfehlen. Es war reichhaltig, sehr schmackhaft...

"Ser nette und zuvorkommendes Personal und Ehrlichkeit ist Groß geschrieben.. habe zu viel bezahlt und habe es nach dem genaueren ausrechnen zurück bekommen.. Sie hätten es auch unterschlagen können. "This hotel is slightly odd in the layout in that two rooms share one bathroom, but only if the hotel is busy or if you book 2 rooms. Otherwise, for the money this is a great hotel. It's comfortable, clean, has balconies which look over a central courtyard, has breakfast included in the price and has a lidl just 5minutes walk away if you fancy something extra to eat. "

"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."
