"The hotel was old but very well maintained. Cleaned, spacious and walking distance to the central train station. Very friendly and helpful stuff. A bit on expensive side for the location but considering the event going on, UEFA championship it was a very good choice we made. The area around was not the greatest one. "Stayed one night in February. This is a budget hotel, and I am rating this as a budget hotel. The property is basic, clean, no thrills. The room was adequate, the bathroom was a bit tight, felt like in a space capsule. Sleep was comfortable. Had a desk to do my remote work. Walking distance to the U-Bahn station. "Since 2018 I've been staying in the Grey Hotel for over 50 nights in total but I don't find any reason to switch to another hotel. Located inside Wallring, 2 minute walk from Dortmund Hbf and staff is helpful. I'll keep using it when I have a business trip to Dortmund."
