"we booked the property based on the very appealing restaurant pictures. However the restaurant was closed and alternative dining options are very poor. We couldn't even order some hot coffee during the afternoon as all the machines were off. The village is ok(ish) but good luck using your card for paying, it seems they got stuck in 2015 as cash is the only option. The hotel's pool, spa and breakfast were good."

"There was no one at the hotel, I was just sent a code and the room number, and I was not informed about this until the day I checked in (so when I could no longer cancel the reservation). One of the reasons to stay at a hotel is because there is someone there to help navigate the local area. And the person I spoke to via the intercom was neither friendly nor helpful. The room was nice, even if it was three flights up (no elevator)."

"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...

"There were renovations taking place during our atay which made finding the building difficult to find as the hotel sign was covered. Make sure you don't show up early for check-in as the doors are locked during certain parts of the day and only accessible with a key you receive when checking in. These are just friendly warnings for a better visit. The hotel itself was charming, clean, and full of modern amenities. The staff were all friendly and helpful and could accommodate French, German and...

"Pleasant hotel in two parts - accommodation in second part which meant going outside to get breakfast etc. Room big with balcony, although road right outside it was not noisy. No air-con though. Breakfast good choice, cooked if you wanted it and meals in the hotel good too. Service a bit slow."
