"La Chiusa was magnificent. Gorgeously restored historical property nestled in their own olive grove, caring attentive staff, and a young chef creating absolutely delicious new takes on traditional Tuscan classics. We walked around the grounds, did some stargazing, and enjoyed the personal attention and the cooking class. 12/10, 3 thumbs up, 6 stars. Can't recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to go back."

I had wanted to relive and reminisce being at the castle and my experience was just as it was 22 years later at age 35!! "Very friendly staff. No problem to communicate in English at all. The place is nice with lots of amenities, such as playgrounds, soccer field, swimming pool, etc. Make sure you bring your own stuff, though, because linens and what not are not included and if you need them, you will need to pay a fee. So does renting a remote control for the air conditioner. We ended up paying 50 euro more for one night. Will definitely go back and bring our own stuff next time."
