"Really close to back of station and everything you need around you. Food stalls on front safe and tasty. Places to shop and eat short walk beach by scooty 300-400 but careful to book a return taxi is 500 but can be 700 plus for tourists. Scooty 500 low season rental daily"

"Fom arriving to leaving our stay was perfect the resort is lovely and the staff are so friendly they attended to our every need We had a superior garden facing room wich was cleaned every day and new white linen on the bed There is a flat screen tv and tea and coffee making facilities plus a powerful fan and air conditioning plus the balcony is massive All in all our stay in the carina beach resort was perfect and would not hesitate to recommend as we will definitely be back So i will finish...

"Close to the main railway station. DO NOT get a front facing room as you will be kept awake most of the night from the train horns! Also had a bite to eat - when I went to pay, reception DID NOT HAVE CHANGE for 500 rupees!!! Young man (on night/evening shift) on reception was very helpful and friendly, speaking pretty good English."
