"This hotel doesn't look as though anything has been done to it in decades. Old bed, very old furniture which has been hand painted to "modernise" it, well worn carpet, pokey little bathroom, door that doesn't fit the frame so light stands in from the corridor all night. Dead batteries in the TV remote. On the upside the hotel is close to the city centre and the room has air conditioning. "

"Christ's College is an old institution with lovely grounds in the centre of Cambridge and it is easy to walk to attractions.The accommodation is in a modern block at the back of the grounds and was built by the architect for the National Theatre .So I was faced with a huge flight of concrete steps and no lift!Luckily I had help with my case from a gardener on my arrival and a cleaner as I left and in between I got quite fit! But I think you should warn prospective guests with limited mobility...

"Atmosphere was great and hotel was nicely laid out. There were a few areas to improve, such as bathroom cleanliness (suspect hairs from previous guests), and shower head sprayed everywhere. Also the plug in the middle of the bed was a bit strange. But we still had a lovely stay and the dinner and breakfast was excellent."
