"It was extremely dirty everywhere except for the room which was ok. Barely adequate. The bar/kitchen area looked completely abandoned as though some disaster had hit the place and everyone had run away. The basement area, where we eventually found out we had to make breakfast with mouldy bread was disgusting. There was a large dead cockroach in the sink and the walls were crumbling. "Very good hotel for the price. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were pretty hard for what we're used to. The big screen tv with different streamingapps was very nice. The rooms were clean, but the hallways were most of the time filled with laundrybags and the stairs were in quite a rough shape. The minifridge in the room was one of the largest we've experienced. All in all we can definitely recommend The Knock In Hotel."

"The room is a good size with a double bed. There was a computer you could use and a few waters and coffee too. There was a kettle and small cups to use as well as a small bag for bathroom essentials. The location is a little far from the station which is the only bad point. This is the best hotel for a cheap easygoing experience. I checked in at about 10.45pm which is generally too late, but not for this hotel. There was a member of staff ready for me. "
