"Arrived at reception little apprehensive after reading some reviews...man on check in was very nice .. arrived up to our room was a lovely room very clean ..tea/coffee left for us in room ..there was a hairdryer..fresh towels ..couldn't fault it nice clean walls done lovely ...yes the reception area and some of it needs updating but for how cheap it was to stay for one night I wouldn't complain at all "

"Lovely stay at the Wellesley. Good value for a basic hotel. Nice comfortable room. Welcome tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice big towels (can't stand the silly little ones you get in some places). Good position away from the main Great Yarmouth area but very easy walk to get there (10 minutes slow walk).Only place I've stayed in where you can't have food or alcohol in the room but rules is rules and i saw that from reading reviews before we booked so happy to conform. Would stay again. Only...

"Had a lovely time, the hotel itself was fine, great breakfast & owner's were spot on, perfect location as in beach & town centre. Very tight roads & seagulls are a threat to paintwork on your car, the area is very colorful, excellent vfm."

"What a gorgeous hut! We stayed here for a friends wedding which was so convenient. Only things that I could fault is that the solar power usb charger point had no energy to charge our phones/ the lights weren't working. Also its a little walk to the toilet/ shower however they are excellent facilities. Maybe a bit overpriced if looking for a quiet getaway but was perfect location for the wedding we attended so would recommend for anybody attending a wedding at the abbey hall without a doubt!"
