"New hotel , with clean , modern and spacious rooms . It is not really easily walkable to the city centre ( takes 35-40 mins ) , but there are bikes , and it’s only an 5 mins Uber ride into town . Will stay again as it’s good value for the price we paid . "

"The service was amazing, the complimentary room upgrade and drink was a lovely surprise for our anniversary and we are very grateful! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back. Only one negative was we found a sealed new packet of cigarettes in the bed side table and there was a beer bottle on the balcony with cigarette buts in but other than that everything was clean and tidy."

"The hotel is great and the room is beautiful. The only bad thing is that they don't mention that you will be charged for the car park as it belongs to railway station and the jacuzzi is not warm at all as is connecting to the main pool and sauna was not working 😕 "

"The Gonville is a beautiful hotel. Centrally located in Cambridge, it has a mixture of elegance and style. The rooms are very unique and brings back that feel of what UK hotels are renowned for. "Decided to splash out a bit for a central, comfy base for a night in Cambridge. Was lovely to have the sparkly decorations in the lobby, the room was a great size and the bed was huge and comfortable. Parking was extortionate as was the price of the drinks in the hotel bar. "

"Excellent staff. Beautiful room and hotel. Fitness center. Nice kitchen facilities in room well placed so didn’t feel like kitchen was in room— really well designed. Great bar and restaurant area. Easy walk to river Cambridge for walking/running. Easy walk to Cambridge city center. I will come back!"
