"Great place to stay unfortunately room 40 could do with improvement in the sink & bath, bath overflow had water running out of it and the sink plug hole didn't look very nice either other than that it was ok "

"An old style coaching inn. Room was freshly decorated and clean with good facilities. It was a little tight for space - glad we didn’t have big suitcases. Service and staff were excellent with extremely good breakfast and dinner. Also very dog friendly. "

"The Town Arms provided us with a good stopover for a busy weekend with friends. Service was good, staff very pleasant and friendly, rooms aren't large but it is an old building with character. The cooked breakfast was very good indeed. Don't look for luxury here, but if you want a nice pub with rooms it ticks the boxes. We enjoyed ourselves."
