"This hotel is in sigiriya which is a village type community near Sigiriya Rock. So you don't expect facilities you might find in a large city. The room was spacious safe and quiet. There was no fridge or tv which was fine. There are no supermarkets in this area but there were adequate dining options nearby. The hotel was perfectly comfortable for a short stay in Sigiriya."

"The staff and management is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were subpar but clean enough. No aircon which was fine but no hot water either. The showers were non functional and no buckets were provided till requested. The property is isolated and tough to find. However for the price and for someone seeking a secluded no frills stay with kind and helpful staff I recommend the hotel."

"Communication really lacked at this property. I booked 1 room for 2 nights for them to call me and say it wasn’t available so they would upgrade for one night and then move me the next day. Only one person spoke English and was always busy. No one showed us to our room, told us where or how to get breakfast the following day that was included. The tv didn’t work and after messaging on WhatsApp I was ignored. power went out which is common so no issue; but our Air Con didn’t work when it came...

"Not usually a review scribe but sometimes you just feel compelled to. 5 stars does not do justice to Dinesh and family. Immaculately clean, helpful to a fault, nothing is too difficult to organize on your behalf and OMG the breakfast is more fit for a king than us minions.
