"For what I paid and required, this was ideal. The room had a bed, TV, bathroom and towels so basic but travelling alone it was all I needed as a base. Breakfast was very good at the Best Western a 2-minute walk down the street. Train station is very close to the hotel. I went out for some morning runs up the coast out of town from the hotel. "

"Bearing in mind that it was a Youth Hostel and not a hotel, we were very happy with our accomodation. The room was large and had a fridge which was a big plus for us. The beds were comfortable and everything in the en-suite bathroom worked well. The only downside was a lack of electrical sockets - there were two in the room and the fridge had to be plugged into one of them but we managed by charging a power bank when we were out and using that to charge mobile phones. "Fantastic location for ferry. Great old building & beautiful rooms freshly painted & renovated. Awesome common area & guest facilities. I just didn’t find my bed that comfortable. The rest was great. "

"Firstly, the owner is so friendly. We were very late arriving and he was so patient and sweet and check in was very easy. The room was comfy and the location was lovely. Breakfast was delicious as well."

"Grunnen til at jeg gir det 5 stjerner. Er at det nesten stod til forventningene iforhold til prisen. Jeg leste meg opp, og tok med meg vannkoker, vannbeholder. Eget senge tøy, laken og puter. Håndkleet. Og ting til å spise og drikke med. Jeg kunne ønske jeg også tok med meg en bøtte og mopp. For gulvet var skittent. Vi gikk med flippflopper inne. "Veldig grei beliggenhet, fin standard. Var ingen rengjøring av rommet selv om vi hang ut skiltet på døren som det sto at vi skulle gjøre, men fikk nye håndkler én gang da vi la de brukte utenfor døra. Samme med dopapir, måtte sette den tomme kurven på utsiden av døra. "

"The room and facilities were fantastic. The only thing that ruined the stay was a horde of people coming into the common room area, dumping enough luggage to fill a 747 and have half a million people try and open our door. This was at 6am!"

"Nice little room with coded doors so no office was necessary. Arriving late would never be an issue. Decent size bathroom and shower. Finding the hotel (behind the building) took a minute as the gps brings you out front where there is no access. Not handicapped accessible as there is a metal staircase to traverse. Would def stay again."

"Great location for Blokhus beach and Farup Sommerland park. Free parking. No breakfast but huge well equipped kitchen with everything you could need Nice views and very quiet . Supermarkets nearby. Would definitely return here.Staff were very welcoming and friendly and helpful."

"Host is very accommodating and friendly. If the family loves hands on experiences with farm animals then this is the perfect place to stay. Very close to Aalborg airport which was the reason for our 1 night stay but we are already talking about going back and staying for a few days."
