"I am travelling on my own on a self supported velo tour and I loved this hotel and had pre booked and stayed for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming, the room was great with a fantastic shower and there was a secure velo/bike garage with water available for washing the velo/bike."

The beds are comfortable and the room is designed for utility. Shower and toilets are a bit tiny but you will live. Ask for extra pillows as they only provide a single pillow. "It’s lovely stay, close to the centre of the town & close to the rail station."

"The hotel is well positioned just beside the park and a short walk to everything in the centre. There seemed to be some renovation which had been started but wasn’t complete but my room was very spacious with a nice view of the park. The breakfast was good value."
