"The hotel is very basic. Our bathroom was not very clean. Especially the shower. The drain wasn’t well cleaned so the water was backing up during the shower. The owner seems quite grumpy any time you try to ask him a question. We had to leave early, before the breakfast offering, the young woman at front desk said they’ll have take away sandwiches for us. "Hands down the best hostel stay of my life. Carmo at the Reception desk was so lovely and welcoming and helpful. Her English is perfect as is her positive attitude. The room was top notch: featherbeds and the best shower: very hot water and it was strong enough to massage my Pilgrim (backpacking sore) shoulders.
