"Comfortable hotel that is located not too far from the tourist attractions in Old Quarters but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The rooms I had were well insulated from the street noise. Unfortunately the last evening was marred by very early morning renovation works (knocking and drilling from building next door). Nothing that the hotel could do. Staff were very friendly and helpful plus conversant in English. Breakfast we very good with both buffet and ala carte choices. "

"Jimmy and Jenny were excellent. So helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for the rooms upgrades too. Lovely rooftop bar and an excellent breakfast choice. Located in the Old Quarter you be hard pushed to find a better hotel. "

"Cute little hotel in old quarter - note it is not 4 star standard more like a 3 star hotel however the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and made our stay very special. We were after big rooms and good location and that is exactly what we got so we were very happy. Even booking tours with the hotel was easy, reliable and reasonably priced. "

"68 year old American standards review, The very best staff I have ever encountered at any hotel ! I am very critical of services and the hotel staff were all so friendly, helpful, professional, caring, etc. Unparalleled service excellence that really made our stay a wonderful memory. My wife and I said we would return to Hanoi just to stay at this hotel again because of the staff! "The location is convenient for transportation and shopping. It faces the main street, which is also convenient. Most of the last years staff left in this summer, which was inconvenient, but the old staff have returned. The layout of the reception has changed, which is a little inconvenient. Strangely, there are carp laid out at the entrance, but since it is not a biotope, I don't think they will last for many years."
