"Area was clean, felt safe, & gas station was conveniently close. Room was very clean. I stayed in a King room - bed was average for this level of hotel, not great but for one night it was fine. Hotel is dated as expected from the pics, but fine for a short stay & a better value than most hotels around Sandusky. A caution: rooms100/101 @ end of the hall - there's a staff door that is constantly slamming shut (last I heard it before sleep was about 2am) so if you aren't a sound sleeper request...

"Wonderful warm greeting from Ashley and quick check-in. The room had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast, with cinnamon buns served from the tin they were baked in. Good dinner places nearby. Across the street is Castaway Bay and the pretty Castaway indoor waterpark building."

"Can not beat it for the price. Room had tile floors it was not the biggest room but we just needed a place to sleep after cedarpoint. Had a microwave and fridge. They were doing alot of work to the outside of it too."
