"Check in started at 2. Arrived at 3 to find hotel deserted. No answer from doorbell or by calling them. Just went to answerphone. Waited for 30 mins outside then eventually had to book another hotel at extra cost. Finally got a call from hotel and had the phone put down on me. Avoid !!!"

"Great relaxing stay at The Roost. Everything was clean and had lovely views of the countryside from every window. "

"Overall the house was comfortable and cosy. The only drawback was that we did not find any extra pillows and bedrooms have no lampshades. The location was excellent and only around 25 mins walk to the town centre. Tasco is only 10 mins walk away and Abington Park around 15mins walk. Other shops are also within walking distance. The host was always reachable and even allowed us to keep the suitcases in the house after check out at 11am since the taxi came for us later. Will definitely recommend. "
