"I did the Chester 100 mile ultra marathon and checked in on the Friday night and had a lovely meal to fuel up. The hotel is very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Only thing id say is make it adults only. Kids running about along the hallways and in the big garden area when youre trying to relax and unwind with a meal and a drink is quite annoying. "The hotel was great for cleanliness, the room was great for what we needed with a nice touch left for our dog who came with us, the staff were very polite, the food was really good. We had a really lovely weekend, but….. the one downfall, we found was, when they say ‘pet friendly’ really the hotels should provide what facilities cannot be used. We were ‘not’ allowed to use the bar OR the restaurant. We were put into a snug/small lounge area for drinks, so felt very out of it for atmosphere. ...
