"The owner was very pleasant & when I arrived several hours late he checked me in & was very nice. I extended my stay by a day & it was easier than at other hotels. The property is older but well kept & clean. Much better stay than at more expensive hotels. You cannot beat the room rate & quality of this hotel. Will definitely stay again in the futute."

That being said, the room and bed were comfortable. The shower and bath were nice and have good soaps. For just a quick place to stay a night or two, would come again."

"Just a clean and safe place. No concerns staying there with granddaughters. Clean, comfortable. Everything in working order. Breakfast was nice but eggs, sausage, potatoes need to be kept warmer. Waffles good! Front desk staff always friendly, especially the evening check in guy! Making frequent trips from Austin to Lufkin, good halfway spot.
