"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"

"This hotel could be good but disappointed in several ways, some of which could be improved. The location was good, handy to nearby major roads. Parking was very good. Check-in via the handy external kiosk demanded immediate full payment even though the room had been prepaid (this extra payment was manually refunded after the very helpful manager arrived at 5pm to staff reception). "Super clean. Super quiet. Safe and very confortable. Delicous organic breakfast with local products. The owner is very welcoming and will tell you everything you need to know about the products he serves for breakfast and about the region. 10 minutes away from Macon Downtown. 10 minutes away from the Maconnais grand cru. Very affordable!!!!!!!!!"

"The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. I never usually wrote reviews, especially but ones but the smoke was so bad if affected my breathing and I didn’t get much sleep at all. Not great for the kids either. All in...
