"This was our third stay in Albergo San Lorenzo on our annual one month visit to Italy. On the way back home we like to visit the truffle fair in Alba on our way to Malpensa Airport in Milan. For the price this is an excellent location as they are one of the few hotels center town within walking distance to the fair that have parking. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast is quite nice. "

"Antique and quaint. Staff very friendly. Food very good and elegantly served. Amenities in room were lacking- no shampoo or conditioner, no instant coffee just tea. No skin lotion. The staff made up for shortcomings."

"We requested a 'quite room' but were located at the front of the property next to the main through road. The facilities were very basic. The evening meal which was included in the price was although basic, well cooked. We had to run the hot water in the shower for 15 minutes before the hot water would reach the shower head and once having done that we got only hot water through the mixer tap in the sink."
