"It is a very small family run hotel, only 5 rooms. Easy for Santillana del Mar. Off road parking. Great view from bedroom. Very nice owner. But the big advantage is a comfortabe bed and absolute quiet. I slept through to the alarm at 8, considering i am typing this at 4.00 am in my next hotel shows just how unusual it is to sleep that long!"

"Hemos tenido una estancia de 5 días estupenda. Veníamos del sur y llegamos más bien tarde, ellos nos esperaron para hacernos el check-in, sin problemas y con una encantadora bienvenida. El apartamento limpio y acogedor, muy bien equipado, todo un lujo! El personal era increíble, agradables, atentos, con predisposición y disposición siempre para lo que necesitáramos. "The posada is a beautiful old building, perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Communication was a little difficult with the owners due to my limited Spanish and their limited English - but we managed! We had a lovely room and a very comfortable bed. It was 4km to drive to the nearest town for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice of local and homemade food. We stayed here on our way back to Bilbao airport after holidaying further west. It is very rural, south of Santillana...
