"The Hôtel Alizé is a modern 1950s-style motel on the edge of Puy-Loudes airport. No worries about aircraft noise - there aren't any scheduled flights in August. The room smelt of loo at first, owing to a long hot spell with closed windows. There was a double bed and a single, same price for all so more suitable for a small family than a single traveller. "On arrival we were surprised to find that our room was in a motel style block alongside the hotel shown in the picture. The room was a good size with a pretty balcony and large bathroom and separate toilet. We ate in the restaurant which provided good food and excellent value. The staff were friendly and efficient."
