"This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming....

"Stayed here for a quick 4 day climbing trip to surrounding areas including Atlantis, the pond, and the homestead. Wonderful location to access these crags. The rental had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy some Netflix after a day of climbing. We had a few issues come up, but the owner was very attentive, responsive, and prompt in communication and addressing the issues. Thank you for a wonderful stay, would recommend."

"Nice inside clean new remodel another bathroom would have been nice nice sized lot and quiet outside beautiful view of the Superstition Montains overall a nice place to stay we look forward to staying here again "

"Nice apartment. Bottom floor so typical noise from apartment above. Water was only warm , never got hot. Other then that it was perfect for our needs."

"The hosts were absolutely wonderful I only wish that all the stairs had been pictured on the listing. The cleaning crew could have done a little better job it looks like somebody's dog had trampled all over the futon and drooled all over it and there was a ton of dog hair and dust under the bed otherwise the place was spotless and the host offered to come clean it but I declined again they were absolutely wonderful and I would rent again but I would rent on the other side of their Apartments so...

"We appreciate the effort, but the inside is lacking, the yard is beautiful, though we didn’t use it on this trip. It was appreciated to provide coffee and filters. However, our stay was less comfortable than expected due to several issues. The home is very minimally furnished and equipped. The kitchen had no appliances beyond a coffee maker, and the provided trash can was very small—about the size of one you’d expect in a bathroom—making it impractical for a kitchen. The bathroom and kitchen...
