"I love this place. The hotel rooms are clean, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The food is lovely (recommend the Stilton mushrooms) and the bar is well stocked and cosy. The staff and management were helpful and it seemed enjoyed the atmosphere. The whole place is filled with interesting antiques and bits of furniture. So much character. "A fine place, was warned about noise especially at weekend. Was in room beside door, people returned 4 am, but there was no bother mo unreasonable noise. Comfortable."
