"The friendly staff and the amazing value menu de jour means we have marked this place to come back to. Yes the bathroom was a little bit tired and the walls are thin so I could unfortunately hear someone in a neighbouring room playing candy crush until late, but the bed was comfy and the ambiance in the restaurant was great. "The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. I never usually wrote reviews, especially but ones but the smoke was so bad if affected my breathing and I didn’t get much sleep at all. Not great for the kids either. All in...

"Hotel is in a rest area. Looks very bad from the outside. Hotel charges €5 to park, so we parked in the rest area. Very outfated, but clean."

"We were only at Hotel Saint Jean one night but it was lovely. Although there were some improvements underway it was clean and nothing was in our way. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hotel was well located. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were able to get a 3 person room which is hard to find. Breakfast included some meats and cheeses, more than the common croissant and coffee. "
