"Nice that they offer breakfast included on Expedia. The area around the hotel isn’t posh but we didn’t observe any criminality. Excellent security inside the hotel and parking was secure and affordable at 2€ per day. Oddly, the thermostat in our room was connected backwards - we had to put it to ‘heat’ to get a/c and had to turn it warmer to make it colder. "

"BEDBUGS!!!! Hotel was very aware of this bedbug issue, yet guest are welcome. I stayed in Italy at BnB, which was fabulous, so this was our second try, now we know , never again! Front desk girl kind of interrogated us in so many words: if we traveled by train… We travel by my own car!!! Stayed in great, clean hotels!!! "

"Comfortable, spacious and quiet room. The hotel is on a side street off of a very attractive plaza called Place Victor Hugo. This is an older building and it shows to some degree, but was very clean and the breakfast room was particularly nicely decorated. Staff was accommodating and helpful. The parking garage under the plaza is very new and has extra-wide parking spaces. The area is very walkable and picturesque, with pleasure boats lining the canals. "Right across the street from the water, excellent restaurant (limited hours off season). Hotel rooms are modern, but very small - TBH my 6'3" husband found the WC too cramped. Clever beds have luggage storage underneath, and a Nespresso machine is a nice touch. That said, we had one of the rooms with a big deck facing a soccer field which we loved: dead quiet, two loungers, bistro table with chairs. More than made up for size of room.
