"One elevator was out of order, and during March break there was usually a long wait for the elevator. The breakfast had a wide choice of foods, but the hot foods were too greasy for our liking. The rooms were in good shape, but need to clean behind the bathroom door, fix dresser drawers that won't shut, and leave instructions on how to adjust the thermostat, which was set at 25 deg. C when we arrived."

"Overall lovely stay and friendly staff. Only downside was the room right next to the reception is quiet noisy as you can hear everybody coming in and out and their conversations at check-in. I'm sure the other rooms wouldn't have this issue."

"This property is reasonably priced and very comfortable. Free parking and breakfast is a bonus for this property and fairly rare in Halifax. I stay here every time I go to Halifax for work. "

"This place was the answer to my prayers. It was magical. The scenery, waterfront, and location was the best. It was outside the hustle and bustle. It truly was the getaway location I desperately needed. I will be back! "

"This was a wonderful stay from start to finish! The inn is not nee and shiny but it IS old snd charming. The chef was super cool. Christine the manager (owner?) was great. She was accommodating, always helpful, and truly a special host. Becca our waitress was great too and deserves praise as well. Our room was cute and had all the necessities one needed. I'd DEFINITELY return!"

"The room was solid. It was good to have my own space. The shower and bathroom were both good. The room was very hot however. There was a small fan, but it did little to combat the heat. The staff were efficient, but didn't interact with me much. Also, this isn't a negative for the accommodation but I would have preferred if there were more people around to chat to. It felt pretty isolating at times. "
