"It was very quiet - guests were respectful and I didn’t hear anything from inside the pod (although they aren’t sound proof). Before staying I was concerned with privacy, but the toilets were individual rooms with doors, the showers as well, and both were pretty clean. The pod itself was fairly clean but a decorative pillow placed on the bed was evidently not cleaned regularly. It had hair on it. If you are backpacking and want to meet people, this is not the place. The common areas were not...

"The location was great!! Five minute walk from Central Station. There are a lot of stairs which is difficult to navigate with luggage but we knew that before we booked. Lobby etc. is old and tired and room was small but very clean. Anywhere else I’d say this room was overpriced but Amsterdam is very expensive and because the location was so wonderful we felt it was a very good choice for us. "

"The hostel is very clean, close to the centre (10 min walk or 5 by bus). All the staff was friendly, from Isaya (if I got his name correctly) to Gaby, the gym guy, the night one and the girl with straight, black hair. Property was not old and they told me that soon they are also going to open other rooms, which means even more cleanliness. I'll be back to Amsterdam and definitely I will go back again to The Bee Hostel"
